Berman Electronic is committed to providing low cost, secure, and environmentally sensitive packaging throughout the logistics chain. Suppliers are required to adhere to strict standards regarding static control, product integrity, and cost efficient transportation.
In these times of rising energy costs, major supply chain companies have adopted the “dimensional weight calculation” when determining package costs. This results in excessive costs throughout the supply chain system ultimately to be passed to the end user in either increased prices or additional freight charges.
- Berman Electronic utilizes the “less is more” principle to determine finished packaged product resulting in lower cost to the end user while focusing on package integrity, environmental impact (wasted packaging material) and dimensional weight factors.
- Each shipment uses (where applicable) the smallest, sturdiest, and “greenest” elements in determining how product will be sent.
- All incoming shipping material is sorted, evaluated for re-use, disposed of if not usable (maintaining all environmentally correct methods) and stored for future use.
Future plans also call for Berman Electronic to investigate the feasibility of using alternative energy sources to power our facilities (solar, wind, etc).
